I spent several days making a vacation slideshow. After adding a few basic effects (Zoom in/out), it now wants to cut off the bottom portion of my picture and move it to the top whenever I add any kind of zoom. Don't know why it was working properly and then it went to this. I now have a slideshow, I have days invested in, but I cannot add any more effects. Very disappointing.
I have put a beautiful slideshow together that took me about 3 days. When I saved it as an AVI file, the pictures would get stuck on certain parts while the music kept playing. I was furious not about spending the money to buy the program but more about spending all that time putting it together. And then to have it come out with glitches was very frustrating.
I did, however, re-save my project as a .mov file and it was perfect. Smooth, no glitches, I was very happy. So you guys might want to try saving it as a .mov file. It worked for me
I completely agree with the observations, over 14 hours of working on videos and when save and converted to formats for playing, it will play and after some photos, it will get stuck, will miss several photos and the music will stop playing and after a while, will start playing music again, although it was supposed to be continued with transitions. I uninstalled and reinstalled it again but it gets the same result. It is very disappointing and complete waste of time. It could be very useful software if NCH resolves these problems, otherwise will not recommend it.
Does not deliver what it promises. The user forum on the NCH site is full of comments from users who experienced the same comments I had - and no answer from the producers.
I have to report the same experience as "Guest" above. I spent many hours trying out different transitions, organising my pictures, adding texts, selecting a suitable background music. Everything looks perfect in "preview", but when I ask it to produce a file that I could post on the Internet or burn a DVD that I could mail to friends and family, all goes terribly wrong. I tried the .avi, .flv and .mkr formats. They all stop playing after a while. Some of the transitions leave parts of the previous picture still on the screen, particularly when the image changes from landscape to portrait. FLV seems to be more stable than the other two, but it is a lottery how long it'll keep going. The DVDs that I burnt (and wasted) don't play on my PC and on my TV set. It's all a big disappointment, because, feature-wise, it looks exactly like what I want.
I spent 11 hours putting together a slideshow that will not play smoothly. It gets stuck on random photos that will not play continuously. I have read other users comments (on your forum) on having this same problem without and solution. I would not recommend this product until this problem is solved.
